This summer, I have been lucky enough to be a brand ambassador for BANGS shoes, an ethical brand whose mission is to promote small entrepreneurship around the world. The shoes remind me a lot of Converse, so if you’re a high-top sneaker kind of person, go and check out the options!


They do also carry slip-ons and low-top sneakers, but I’m a sucker for a good high-top. Mine are the Sahara High-top, which looks like a terra cotta color. I’ll be honest, not the color I would have naturally gravitated toward but I like them, and while they’re different, they’re still a neutral color.
